The VOTE (Voice Opinions on Taxes and Education) Committee
is a group of residents, taxpayers, and parents that want
the community's voice heard. We feel that the communities
involved in the Livingston School District's dissolution/annexation

our children attend school. Our goal is to bring this issue
to the voters on the March 16th ballot. Your help is greatly
needed. If you would like to help or make a donation toward
our "Right to Choose" effort, please contact us at: VOTE

volunteers and plenty of hard work were utilized to make
the library a reality. Ground breaking ceremonies took place
in August 2002 and then in September 2003 the move to the
new library was completed. The library is an attractive
building which contains a children’s collection/reading
area and an adult section as well, including a very interesting
history room containing old newspaper clippings and memorabilia
of past events. Computers with internet access and a meeting
room also are available to library patrons. The City of
Mt. Olive responded in a positive way by supporting the
efforts of the library, city and state government, and the
library system. Their support conveys the message that information
is a valuable asset.

help a local organization continue its charitable
work as well. |

the annual meal. The Staunton High School students helped
