Zion Lutheran holding dinner, auction Saturday

STAUNTON - A catered meal and a chance to bid on some great items will be featured at the 12th Annual Dinner/Auction, sponsored by the Parent-Teachers League of Zion Lutheran School Saturday, March 27.
The event will take place at the Crystal Ballroom, and will get under way with the silent auction at 3 p.m.
A dinner catered by Fema’s will be served at 5, and the oral auction will begin at 6:30.
A wide variety of items will be available in both the silent and oral auctions.
These will include gift certificates, tickets to sporting events, furniture and baked goods. In addition, the students of Zion Lutheran School have prepared “theme baskets” and artwork that will also be up for bid.
Tickets for all of the evening’s events are $15 per person and on sale at Bill’s IGA, Cisler Real Estate and the Zion Church Office. Although a ticket is required for the silent auction and the catered dinner, the doors will open to the general public at no charge when the oral auction begins at 6:30. The Staunton Knights of Columbus will have a cash bar available during the event.
Those purchasing tickets for the evening are invited to bring a donation for the Staunton Food Pantry. In return, they will receive a coupon for $2.50 off any auction purchase.
