Pastor Nathan Meador of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton poses with the pig he kissed on Tuesday, February 24. Pastor Meador challenged the students of Zion during a recent fund raiser – if they sold 10 percent more magazines than they had last year, he would kiss a pig. The children met the challenge, and so, true to his word, Pastor kissed the pig not only once, but twice. The students enjoyed the assembly and cheered while Pastor puckered up. |
February 10. The meeting began at 5:30 p.m. Old and new business was discussed and project books were handed out. A talk was given by Ashley Herbeck on surgery. Allie Herbeck gave a demonstration on applying make-up. Two drawings were held for Valentine’s Day; the winners were Jessa Grandone and Alex Ocepek. |
